Books on Broadway: Tradition!

Author Barbara Isenberg chronicles the rich tale of how Sholem Aleichem’s 19th- century Yiddish stories of Tevye the milkman and his family were re-imagined, set to music and popularized onstage and onscreen.

Educator/writer Diane Cole, will begin the evening with a discussion about Salom Alechem, noted author of the famous stories Fiddler on the Roof is based on.

Moderated by Sandee Brawarsky, The Jewish Week.
