Welcome to lifelong learning.

The Streicker Center is going Off Broadway for . . . GLORIA: A LIFE

Followed by a special post-show conversation with Gloria Steinem

Show begins at 3:00 PM | We will meet at the Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square.

And what a life Gloria Steinem has fashioned for herself: half a century of social and political activism that has left an indelible mark on generations of women.

This amazing play is an intimate glimpse into the moments and individuals that shaped the life of the feminist trailblazer: the male colleagues who dismissed her work as a journalist and, finally, her mentors, women like Bella Abzug and Dorothy Pitman Hughes. But it also offers the audience a chance to participate in an open forum with Christine Lahti, who plays Steinem, and a guest “moderator” about their own concerns as American women.

For this special Streicker Center–only performance, that moderator will be Gloria Steinem herself!

So invite your sister, your best friend and all the other people you know who need inspiration for this very special trip down Gloria Steinem’s memory lane that will become an important part of your own.

Seats will be assigned upon registration and tickets will be mailed in advance.

Join us for a special pre-show lunch at the Harmonie Club at 12:00PM.  $45 includes lunch and transportation to the theater.
