Whether you’re a kitchen novice, a budding chef or simply a foodie, here is a rare opportunity to learn from some of America’s top master chefs and cookbook authors. Under their guidance, you will expand your culinary repertoire by cooking exciting meals straight from the pages of their latest cookbooks.
Classes are taught in our fully equipped industrial kitchen in an intimate atmosphere with clear step-by-step instructions, so you will learn the master chef’s techniques as well as recipes.

October 13: Chef Lior Lev Sercarz. The chef, spice blender and owner of New York’s La Boîte, a spice and biscuit shop, Lior Lev Sercarz was named one of Bon Appetit’s Tastemakers of 2012. Chef Sercarz’s restaurant has been featured in the New York Times, Every Day with Rachael Ray and Vogue. Chef Sercarz will prepare recipes from his book The Art of Blending.
November 10: Joan Nathan. Ms. Nathan is a renowned cookbook author and James Beard Award winner who has written many articles and produced TV documentaries on the subject of Jewish food. Ms. Nathan will prepare recipes from her book Quiches, Kugels and Couscous: My Search for Jewish Cooking in France.
December 8: Chef Michael Solomonov. Chef/owner of the popular Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia, Michael Solomonov is the winner of the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic and was named Chef of the Year by the website Eater. Solomonov will prepare recipes from his brand-new book, Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking.
Registration includes personal instruction, ingredients, supplies, signed copies of the cookbooks and a special Skirball apron.
