Welcome to lifelong learning.

Sunday Seminar: The Haggadah

While the Seder remains Judaism’s most observed ritual, the Haggadah remains one of our most confounding texts. To the untrained eye, this ancient compendium is at best fascinatingly oblique—and at worst, an endless slog standing between us and dinner. But once you start unpacking the Haggadah, you will find an agenda (yes, there really is one), a series of history lessons and all manner of beauty. Here to serve as your guide is the esteemed Rabbi Daniel Goldfarb, who assures that a transformative experience awaits in the Haggadah’s pages, if only we understand what’s going on.
